Watch Lee Ranaldo's New Video

“New York, I love you”: This is what we gathered Lee Ranaldo’s latest music video for “Off the Wall” is saying.

Sonic Youth posted the clip on their Facebook page today, and it is a treat. The footage taken in January appears to be an ode to the city.

With a handheld camera, Patrick Suddath pans the footage between a live performance at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery and scenes all over New York—the Holland Tunnel, Battery Park trees, disco balls in East Village clubs, fireworks over the Hudson River and a glowstick-filled crowd in Williamsburg.
