Zak Penn, the writer behind The Incredible Hulk and X-Men: The Last Stand, has been tapped by Columbia Pictures to write the sequel to 2010’s surprisingly successful The Karate Kid, Variety reports.
The project is still untitled, and few details about it have emerged. But Variety stated that it is expected that both Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith will reprise their roles for the film, although no deals have been made just yet.
