Elvis Costello Announces Additional West Coast Dates
Elvis Costello has added five additional West Coast stops to his 2012 “Spectacular Spinning Songbook” tour. The British rocker and his band, the Imposters—Steve Nieve (keyboards), Pete Thomas (drums) and Davey Faragher (bass)—are set to play Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego and Windsor, Ontario, as well as number of other American and Canadian cities.
The “Spectacular Spinning Songbook” tour features a Wheel of Fortune-style device that select fans get to spin in order to choose the setlist. The wheel has banners for 40 different songs, from classics to rarities. Over the course of the 2011 tour, Costello and the Imposters played more than 200 different songs thanks to the wheel.
The tour will also include an on-stage go-go cage and what Costello’s website calls a"Society Lounge.” Check out the schedule below.
