Fox's Terra Nova Heads For Extinction
The future of Fox’s prehistoric freshman drama Terra Nova has been in question since the beginning of 2012. The network finally gave an answer to the dangling show and announced it would not renew the show for a second season. Twentieth Century Fox TV (the studio that produces the show) is looking to save the show by shopping it around to other networks.
Terra Nova’s cancellation comes months after fan-favorite House was axed in early February. The network has struggled in recent years to find a solid drama that both critics and audiences love. Even J.J. Abrams’ Alcatraz is struggling with viewership, but Friday night’s Fringe is holding strong in a difficult timeslot.
