Jimmy Kimmel to Host Emmys
Funnyman Jimmy Kimmel is set to host the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on Sept. 23 in Los Angeles, ABC News reported. The ceremony will air on ABC, the same network that airs Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Kimmel will be the second late night host in three years to host the Emmys after Jimmy Fallon did so in 2010. He recently put together a post-Oscars show on Live and is set to host the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. next month.
In 1999, he took home an Emmy himself for Best Game Show Host when he was the co-host for Win Ben Stein’s Money on Comedy Central.
