Paul Simon to Release 25th Anniversary Sets for Graceland

Last October we reported Paul Simon’s plans to release a 25th anniversary edition of Graceland. Yesterday the singer announced the anniversary set is slated for a June 4 release, marking the LP’s original release date.

The vinyl version is stacked with three extra songs and the CD package will include five bonus tracks, a DVD featuring Simon in South Africa titled Under African Skies as well as an audio narrative titled “The Story Of Graceland.”

In addition to the vinyl and CD sets, a special collector’s edition box set will be released. The package includes a DVD of Simon’s 1987 concert in Zimbabwe, a Graceland poster, a handwritten lyrics pad and an 80-page deluxe book.

The ultra-deluxe box set comes with even more goodies. Paulsimon.com has all the information you need on ordering.

Recently, we announced Simon is set to perform Graceland on July 15 in Hyde Park for this year’s Hard Rock Calling.

While waiting for the June release, you can enjoy the video for Under African Skies which features an array of artists from David Byrne, Vampire Weekend, Ladysmith, Black Mambazo to Oprah.
