Record Store Day Announces 2012 Release List

We’re pretty excited about Record Store Day here at Paste. We’ve covered Merge’s releases, reported on Sub Pop’s goodies, unveiled RSD’s official app and written about bands like the Flaming Lips, Cursive and St. Vincent. But now, RSD has streamlined all of their forthcoming releases into one extensive, organized list.

From a quick skim, RSD has announced lots of new Side-by-Side 7” singles and box sets, with plenty of showings from classic artists like Janis Joplin, James Brown and Miles Davis, as well as indie favorites such as Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, Beach House and many more.
