Sebadoh Back in the Studio After 13 Years

Sebadoh co-frontman Jason Loewenstein—the punk rock screaming voice of the ‘90s alternative trio—posted on his blog yesterday that he and drummer Bob Fay are back in the studio. Sebadoh’s last recorded album was 1999’s The Sebadoh, but the group has repeatedly reunited since 2004 to tour around the world.

Loewenstein’s post, an entry titled, “First sebadoh recording session in 13 years begins today!,” read: “Well.. for me and Bob it does. Me, Bob and the Jakerock Mobile Recording Unit are headed to los angeles to record in lou’s rehearsal spot for the next 10 days… Good times!”

We’re looking forward to see what kind of grungy goodness they come up with next. For now, though, check out “Rebound” from 1994’s Bakesale (and remastered and re-released last year) below.
