See Exclusive Art for the Upcoming Season of The Ricky Gervais Show
Show set to return for its third season on April 20
The Emmy-nominated Ricky Gervais Show will return for its third season on April 20 on HBO. The animated series—which is based off of the comedian’s radio show/podcast that he co-hosted with fellow Office creator Stephen Merchant and comedic author Karl Pilkington—first premiered in 2010 and has aired 26 episodes in its first two seasons.
In the upcoming season, The Ricky Gervais Show will cover a variety of topics including museum collections, Pilkington’s invention of the mug coaster, a movie pitch and the three of them shedding new light on charitable causes.
Gervais currently stars on the travel documentary show An Idiot Abroad alongside Merchant and Pilkington and is set to premiere Derek, a new comedy show about a retirement home worker. He was the sole director and writer of the pilot in which he stars as the title character. Pilkington makes his acting debut as the main characters best friend.
