Watch Trailer for Tim Burton's New Film Dark Shadows

To our excitement, the first film trailer for Tim Burton’s adaptation of Dark Shadows has arrived.

Dan Curtis created the original Primetime Emmy-nominated series, which aired from 1966-1971. The show told the story of the affluent Collins family of Collinsport, Maine who are tortured by strange occurrences so it’s not surprising that the gothic soap opera caught the attention of the Corpse Bride and Edward Sissorhands director.

As always, Burton has enlisted his powerhouse bill. Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chole Grace Mortez and Jonny Lee Miller each appear as either the supernatural, or the groovy-natural, in this dark but hilarious clip.
