24th James Bond Film Scheduled for 2014

There’s a four-year gap between the last James Bond film, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, which is set for a release later this year. But the Bond franchise plans on shortening the time between films with their 24th film in the franchise, as the yet-to-be-titled Bond film is expected for a 2014 release.

The first trailer for Skyfall is set to be released next month and was delayed because of financial problems with MGM. But Den of Geek points out that Skyfall could be the last time Daniel Craig plays Bond. Craig’s contract is to play Bond three times, with an option for a fourth film. The decision of whether Craig returns after Skyfall is entirely up to Craig.

Skyfall—which also stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes and Judi Dench as M—is scheduled to be released on Nov. 9.
