New Beach Boys Album to be Released in June

UPDATE: The Beach Boys released a full version of “That’s Why God Made the Radio.” Take a listen below.

With their 50th anniversary 50-date international tour starting tonight in Tucson, Ariz., The Beach Boys have confirmed details for their newest album. Set for release on June 5 through Capitol/EMI records, the forthcoming LP will be the band’s first studio record featuring all surviving members (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, David Marks) since 1995′s Stars and Stripes Vol. 1.

The Beach Boys posted a teaser video for their new single, “That’s Why God Made the Radio” that includes interviews and studio footage with band members. The song itself, available now for digital download, is typical Beach Boys—catchy and filled with luscious harmonies.
