Cat Power Announces New Album
Cat Power was good to us in 2008 with EP Dark End of the Street and covers album Jukebox which featured re-imagined works of Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin.
We recently reported Power’s debut of a new song that surfaced at a recent San Francisco performance. And today Chan Marshall has tweeted some good news.

She later added.

Although not many details are known about the new album other than its title, but Matador Records has penned the release date for September.
Check out a new untitled track at Cat Power’s show at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
