Dispatch Announces First Album in 12 Years, Circles Around the Sun
Trio also confirms North American tour
Chad Stokes, Brad Corrigan and Pete Francis, the trio that makes up indie/roots band Dispatch, just announced a new album and accompanying fall tour. Circles Around The Sun, the group’s first full-length studio album in 12 years, is set for an Aug. 21 release on their own Bomber Records.
During the North American tour, the band will offer free live audio downloads of each show, available within 48 of the end of each concert. The bar code numbers printed on ticket stubs will serve as the redeeming information, but more details on that program will be announced later.
Also on the tour, Dispatch will donate $1 from every ticket sold to Amplifying Education, their non-profit organization that helps improve public schools across the United States. The band also encourages fans to bring book donations to shows to support literacy programs.
Fans are able to register for the summer tour pre-sale on Dispatch’s website today through 5 p.m. on April 25. Two days later, those who signed up will receive a special code that will enable them to purchase presale tickets starting on May 1.
