Feist released today the artwork for her split with Mastodon, which is titled Feistodon. The single is set for a Record Store Day release on April 21. The artwork was released today through a post on Spin and features Feist’s image mashed together with guitarist Brent Hinds’ easily recognizable, tattooed hairline and an illustrated “Black Tongue,” which is also the title of the Mastodon track Feist is covering for the 7” single.
In other Feist news, the songwriter released a video for “Bittersweet Melodies,” a track from her most recent album, Metals, through Rolling Stone. The video features the work of Argentinian photographer Irina Werning, which features subjects photographed in the same setting, clothing and pose, but with decades between the images to show aging.
