Film Adaptation of Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks in the Works
Brazilian company RT Features has purchased the rights to Bob Dylan’s 1975 Blood On The Tracks and is now planning on adapting it into an English-language feature, AFP reported.
“As longtime admirers of one of the greatest albums in the history of music, we feel privileged to be making this film,” said RT Features’ senior vice-president Fernando Loureiro. “Our goal is to work with a filmmaker who can create a classic drama with characters and an environment that capture the feelings that the album inspires in all fans.”
Last month we reported that Dylan was at work on his 35th studio album, which he revealed to The Aspen Times. Dylan is also set to headline July’s Benicàssim Festival in Valencia Spain alongside Florence + the Machine, At The Drive-In and The Stone Roses.
