See Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock

Anthony Hopkins is well known for his portrayal of psychos on screen. Just revisit 1991 when the world was introduced to Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs.

But today Hopkins is nearly unrecognizable as he transforms into the creator of another Psycho. A photo has emerged of Hopkins in Sacha Gervasi’s forthcoming Alfred Hitchcock biopic titled Hitchcock, which chronicles the making of Psycho.

The film, which started shooting last Friday, stars Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh and Jessica Biel as Vera Miles.

74-year-old Hopkins recently wrapped Kenneth Branagh’s Thor and is now moving onto the sequel and is currently linked to a Chuck Russell production of Arabian Nights as well as a Dustin Hoffman collaboration entitled The Song of Names.
