Listen to Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast with The Shins’ James Mercer

Comedian Marc Maron was featured pretty prominently in last week’s mPlayer Comedy Issue. His twice-weekly podcast, WTF with Marc Maron is one of our favorites, as he consistently brings in guest comics, sketch artists and celebrities for hilarious conversations.

Recently Maron has interviewed musicians including Nick Lowe, and Carrie Brownstein and yesterday, he invited The Shins’ frontman James Mercer on the show. According to WTF’s official site, Mercer “defends the earnest art of the synthesizer and sets Marc straight on the difference between Danger Mouse and Modest Mouse.” Additionally, the singer performed a solo acoustic version of “Simple Song.”
