For those who discovered Arrested Development through hours-long DVD or Netflix marathons, a recent announcement from creator Mitch Hurwitz should be great news. Hurwitz confirmed that all 10 episodes of the show’s revival are expected to be released as a full set, according to Vulture.
The confirmation came from a Netflix event at Las Vegas’ National Association of Broadcasters convention that also included appearances from Arrested Development cast members Will Arnett, David Cross, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter.
“There’s going to be some mystery sprinkled throughout this, [but] instead of watching one a week and try to get ahead of it, the hope is [fans] will watch them all together and then go back and look for clues and connections,” Hurwitz said at the event.
This comes after Arnett’s announcement that the show and movie would film this summer, but Vulture reported that Hurwitz avoided talking about the long-awaited film. It was suggested, however, that the show could return for more seasons when Hurwitz said “We would love this to be the first first of many visits.”
