Sigur Rós Announces First North American Shows in Four Years
Sigur Rós will be back in North America for their first shows since 2008 in support of their sixth studio album, Valtari, which is set for a May 29 release on XL Recordings.
Valtari, translated as “steamroller,” is the first studio album the band has released since their 2008 critically acclaimed Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust. You can listen to the album’s first single “Ekki Múkk ” and check out the track list here.
Sigur Rós revealed in a press release the upcoming North American tour is set to feature up to eleven members on stage, which includes the band’s four core members. Check out Sigur Rós’ world tour dates here and their North American shows below.
