The Black Keys to Appear on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations

An upcoming episode of Anthony Bourdain’s cult travel show No Reservations will see the celebrity chef visit Kansas City, Mo., where he joins the bombastic blues two-piece The Black Keys for barbecue and “possible dismemberment.”

After being picked up in the dilapidated van from El Camino’s album cover, Bourdain joins the Keys, drummer Patrick Carney and singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach, for lunch at Woodyard Bar-B-Que where the group discusses bad Chinese food and what life has been like for them on the road.

“When we first started touring we had $5 a day we could each spend on food,” said Carney. “Dan though would usually save his money to go eat won-ton soup.”

The episode will air on the Travel Channel on April 16 at 9 p.m. EST, but a clip is available now streaming on the Travel Channel website. The Black Keys are set to headline the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this and next weekend.
