Ty Segall Band Announces New Album, Tour

San Francisco psychedelic songwriter Ty Segall is set to release later this week a collaborative album titled Hair with White Fence frontman Tim Presley. Today the California native announced another new album Slaughterhouse, which marks Segall’s first release with his touring band.

In The Red is set to release the two 10’’ mini-album on June 26. In a press release In The Red’s Larry Hardy promised, “All of Ty’s usual psych-pop sensibilities are still present, but Slaughterhouse adds the full-throttle, go-for-the-throat bombast that the band delivers in the live setting.”

Segall and band will begin their North American tour in hometown San Francisco with opening acts from The Strange Boys, The Men, White Fence, Shannon and the Clams and The Mallard spread across the two month tour.
