The man who created Spiderman, Superman, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, the X-Men and other beloved super heroes will finally have his own story share with comic book fans across the country. EPIX’s documentary, With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story, makes its debut April 27 at 8:00 p.m. EST on the cable channel and online.

Lee has often been praised for using real world issues as inspiration in his comics, characters and stories. And a new clip from the film shows Lee discussing these topics, noting the importance of incorporating diversity and ideas of tolerance, and understanding into his work.
