Watch Bonnie Raitt’s New Video for “Right Down the Line”

Bonnie Raitt’s 19th studio album Slipstream is set for a release tomorrow on her brand new label, Redwing Records. While we premiered her song, “Ain’t Gonna Let You Go” last month, the blues guitarist has just released her first music video in 14 years for her cover of Gerry Rafferty’s “Right Down the Line.” While Rafferty, who’s known for hits like “Baker Street” and “Stuck in the Middle With You,” took a straightforward approach with the song, Raitt injects the tune with a little retro action.

Steve Lippman (also known as FLIP) directed the video for “Right Down the Line,” which features Raitt and the band performing in San Francisco’s abandoned Mission Theatre spliced with shots of happy couples.
