Watch M. Ward Play “Primitive Girl” on Conan

Coinciding with the release of his eighth studio album, M. Ward dropped by Conan last night to perform “Primitive Girl.” The track is the first single from his new album, A Wasteland Companion. The live version of “Primitive Girl” featured an awesome solo by Ward, which gave the otherwise retro track a more rugged feel.

A Wasteland Companion is now available across all formats through Merge Records. Check out the video of Ward and company playing “Primitive Girl” on Conan below.
