Aaron Sorkin to Write Steve Jobs Biopic

Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is expected to write a movie based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of late Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs, Reuters reported.

Sony Pictures Entertainment unveiled their plans on Tuesday, stating that Sorkin will do Jobs’ story justice by writing a movie that “will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing,” said Amy Pascal, co-chairman of SPE.

Sorkin found previous success writing about pioneers in technology with 2010’s The Social Network. Though Sorkin’s source material for that film, The Accidental Billionaires by Ben Mezrich, wasn’t approved by Zuckerberg, Jobs himself sanctioned Isaacson’s work.
