Anthony Bourdain's Bone in the Throat to Get Film Adaptation
Given celebrity chef, world traveler and novelist Anthony Bourdain’s success in bookstores and on the small screen, it was only a matter of time before one of his works got picked up for movie adaptation.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that his novel, Bone in the Throat, is set to be made into a movie by Dignity Film Finance and has been fast-tracked into production. Producers Peter Heslop and Lenny Beckerman are the only names currently attached to the project.
Bourdain’s popular exposé about the fine dining industry, Kitchen Confidential, was adapted into a television show in 2005, though it failed to find an audience and was cancelled after one season by FOX.
