Diablo III Bug Can Crash Game

Diablo III is now live, but lurking within the game is a nasty bug. “The Error 3006” bug boots players from their game and prohibits them from logging back in—even with a different character.

According to forum users, the bug is triggered when players trade an equipped shield with the Templar, a follower that can be obtained early in the game. The problem also seems to occur most often to those playing the Demon Hunter class.

Blizzard is currently working on a fix, but advises players to avoid the Templar in the meantime. This latest problem comes after the now infamous Error 37, the message many players received last night while attempting to log on to bogged-down servers.
