Tracklist Released for Wes Anderson's <i>Moonrise Kingdom</i> Soundtrack

The anticipation for _Moonrise Kingdom, which hits limited theaters in New York and Los Angeles May 25, prompted interactive web character postersof_the_day/2012/04/check-out-seven-interactive-character-posters.html, an opening spot at the Cannes 65th Film Festival and soundtrack buzz.

Today the tracklist for the film was released, and it’s no surprise Anderson has summoned past collaborators—namely Alexandre Desplat who scored Anderson’s Oscar-nominated stop-motion flick The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

You can listen to Desplat’s “The Heroic Weather-Conditions of the Universe, Part 1: A Veiled Mist,” the sixth track on the soundtrack, through Pitchfork, and check out the tracklist for Moonrise Kingdom below.
