Donald Glover Responds to Critics in 40-Tweet Statement
Since releasing a new song on May 14, Donald Glover heard a lot of feedback regarding the possible direction he might be taking as a rapper under the name Childish Gambino. And with an unnamed mixtape set to be released sometime in the near future, many fans have been vocal about what the songs might sound like.
Glover first dropped “Eat Your Vegetables” in early April and performed on La Blogotheque’s The Switch, which included new, unnamed songs. Though there was some backlash at a line included in “Vegetables” it doesn’t compare to the feedback since “Unnecessary” was released.
The final tweet sends a link to his website, which offers a new song titled “We Ain’t Them” for download.
