Jay-Z to Invite President Obama to Perform at Made in America Festival

Jay-Z will curate and headline the Budweiser Made in America two-day music festival over Labor Day weekend to benefit the United Way. Out of the 30 currently unannounced performers, one particular American will be invited to hit the stage.

Barack Obama recently shared his vocal talent with the world, which quickly went viral. Now in an interview with Rolling Stone, Jay-Z’s declared Obama’s inclusion on his list of hopefuls.

“I’m gonna tell you guys right now: I’m gonna give him a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform, do a little rendition of Al Green, but I doubt it. I think that opens up the political season. He’ll be so far into helping the world that he probably won’t have time, but I’m absolutely going to ask him.”

With recent criticism for leaning too far into the pop-culture arena, this might be a stretch for Obama.
