Jonah Hill Joins Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street

Although actor Jonah Hill is still probably best recognized for his comedic roles in movies like Superbad and 21 Jump Street, he’s continuing his foray into dramatic roles after last year’s Oscar-nominated performance in Moneyball.

The Hollywood Reporter recently wrote that Hill has been cast alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese’s adaptation of the Jordan Belfort memoir. Hill has been tapped to play Danny Porush, the best friend of DiCaprio’s protagonist, the scheming stockbroker Belfort. The film and memoir recount Belfort’s participation in security fraud, corporate corruption and mob infiltration that resulted in a 20-month prison sentence.

In the meantime, however, Hill can be seen alongside Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in sci-fi comedy The Watch (formerly known as Neighborhood Watch). Hill will also play himself in Seth Rogen’s directorial debut The End Of The World.
