Lifetime Developing a Silence of the Lambs Prequel

Nothing screams Lifetime better than Silence of the Lambs, right? According to TV Guide, the network is currently developing a prequel spinoff to the film. The show, which is titled Clarice, is expected to follow new FBI academy grad Clarice Starling as she hunts serial killers and gets into Hannibal-free trouble.

The show is thought to be a play on NBC’s upcoming prequel series, Hannibal, which fleshes out (no pun intended) the people-snacking psychiatrist’s early days.
