Star Trek's Chris Pine to Star in Self-Written Indie Comedy
Star Trek lead and general pretty boy Chris Pine has big plans for the future, according to Deadline. The actor recently co-wrote and is set to star in the upcoming indie comedy film Mantivities.
Pines penned the script with fellow buddies Will Greenberg, Drew Howerton, Robert Baker, Ian Gotler and Tony Liebetrau. Mantivities follows a group of 30-something friends, all unwilling to sack up and join the ranks of grown-ups. They unite to push at least one friend into adulthood, hilarity ensues, etc. Waterstone Entertainment will produce the film.
Along with his other mantivities, Pine recently finished shooting for Star Trek 2, the details of which are still scarce.
