Stream the New Japandroids Album

Celebration Rock, Japandroids’ follow-up to their 2009 debut Post-Nothing will be released on June 5 via Polyvinyl. Now NPR has made the entire album available for your streaming pleasure.

Celebration Rock is only 8 songs and 35 minutes long, but soon as you queue up the debaucherous opening track, “The Nights of Wine and Roses,” you’ll realize why. The Vancouver duo barely stops to take a breath as they blow through raucous track after track. For a band that reportedly almost broke up before their debut album was even released, they certainly aren’t lacking in energy.
