The Killers Announce Upcoming Album Title, Track Names

According to NME, The Killers revealed the name of their upcoming full-length album that will follow their 2008 effort, Day & Age, tentatively set for release sometime in the fall.

Battle Born, which is also an informal name for the state of Nevada (The Killers’ home state), will be the band’s fourth studio album, and will feature production by Stuart Price, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor and Brendan O’Brien.

Frontman Brandon Flowers said about the name, “In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better.”

Some track titles have also been unveiled, including “Heart Of A Girl,” “Flesh And Bone,” “Carry Me Home,” and “Runaways.”

Watch footage of “Rising Tide,” a new song played at a live show last summer that could be included on the new album.
