The xx Perform New Song In London

When in London for an intimate show at Chats Palace, native-trio the xx debuted a new track (title still unreleased) that we’re assuming will appear on their sophomore and highly-anticipated album for 2012.

The track is equipped with drum machine, soft-pop vibe and unapologetic lyrics, the very elements that set the liberal, there’s-no-mistaking-the-bass sound of the xx that we first fell in love with.

Check out the track below as Romy croons, “why just leave us alone when we could be close, close, close” in repetition.
