True Blood Co-Exec to Replace Alan Ball
True Blood showrunner Alan Ball will step down at the end of the upcoming fifth season, and in his place, Mark Hudis will step up. According to Deadline, co-executive producer Hudis will claim Ball’s spot for season six—if the show is renewed.
Hudis is best known for his work on seasons four and five, as well as That ‘70s Show and Nurse Jackie. Deadline also reports that despite the trade-off, Ball will remain involved with True Blood.
Season five of the hit vampire show True Blood is scheduled to start on June 10.
