Andy Samberg to Star in New BBC Show

Just days after Andy Samberg announced he would be leaving Saturday Night Live, the New York Post reported that he will be staring in a new BBC Three show titled Cuckoo. In the show, Samberg will play a hippie bum-type character that marries a British girl. The plot revolves around his difficulty dealing with her overprotective dad.

As reported, Samberg revealed his plan to press at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles where he was doing promotion for his upcoming film with Adam Sandler, That’s My Boy, which comes out June 15. So far, there are no details as to when Cuckoo will make its debut.
