Animal Collective Reveal Art for Centipede Hz
On Sept. 4, Animal Collective are set to release the follow-up full-length to their acclaimed 2009 album Merriweather Post Pavillion. The forthcoming album will be called Centipede Hz, and as the band notes, it will be “harder for people to swallow.”
It appears the band was referring to the new album’s cover art as well as its songs. The album art for Centipdede Hz was just revealed, and it features a garish-looking mouth composed of discordant colors. Take a look to your right.
In May, Animal Collective released two new tracks through their website which will be released as a 7" on June 26. Recently, they announced a number of tour dates taking place throughout Sept., Oct. and Nov.
