R&B superstar and new mom Beyoncé is adding one more role to her busy schedule—queen. The singer is set to add her voice to an already stellar cast lineup for the upcoming animated film, Epic, Deadline reports.
Epic is a 3D film about a young girl who is transported into a secret universe. She quickly finds herself immersed in a battle between good and evil to save both this new world and her own. The film comes from 20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios, who are best known for creating kid films Ice Age and Rio.
Along with Beyoncé, the movie has already recruited the voice talents of Steven Tyler, Jason Sudeikis, Pitbull, Aziz Ansari, Josh Hutcherson, Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried and Johnny Knoxville. The film also marks Beyoncé’s first project since the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy. Beyoncé will also star in Clint Eastwood’s upcoming A Star is Born remake.
