Christina Applegate Confirmed for Anchorman 2

Christina Applegate is set to reprise her role as Veronica Corningstone in the upcoming Anchorman sequel, Celebuzz reported. The site got the official thumbs up from Applegate’s rep.

Applegate joins a returning cast of Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner. Little is currently known about Anchorman 2, which has only been briefly teased through a simultaneously nonsensical and humorous trailer. The film is currently slated for a 2013 release.
