Dan Harmon Absent as Community Wins Big at Critics' Choice Awards

Former Community showrunner Dan Harmon was notably absent at last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards as the show won Best Comedy Series.

Joel McHale, along with producer Russ Krasnof and select other cast members accepted on Harmon’s behalf, with McHale garnering applause from the audience when he said, “First, we want to thank show creator Dan Harmon.”

Harmon tweeted the following early this morning about the show’s win:

Congrats, Community, and thank you, critics. Sorry I was unable to have been invited!

Harmon was ousted last month as showrunner and replaced by David Guarascio and Moses Port.
