Play Community's Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne

It really didn’t take long at all for Community‘s loyal fans to run with the video game idea set forth in “Digital Estate Planning.” Behold, Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne is a real game that you can play, complete with a lo-fi version of the show’s theme song. Super Nintendo-quality gaming has never been so gratifying.

This thread on Reddit lets you download the game to your computer. The game itself is almost perfect, except for a couple of details left out (which will hopefully be addressed in future versions). The developers are committed to making it the best it can be, evidenced by releasing new versions that fix reported bugs on a daily basis.

You can play as all seven study group members, as well as Alien, Batman, Brittasaurus Rex, Captain Kirk, and Constable Reggie. All the characters only have three performable actions: run, jump, and flatten enemies, just like in Super Mario Bros. This, folks, is what happens when you create a show for nerds.
