Hunger Games Sequel Honing On Its Johanna Mason
Excitement for the upcoming Hunger Games sequel is beginning to top Bieberian levels, and for good reason. Philip Seymour Hoffman has already been offered the role of Plutarch Heavensbee, and now it seems the film may have found its Johanna Mason.
Zoe Aggeliki and Jena Malone are the two actresses at the front of the running, but according to Deadline, this race is nearing its end. Aggeliki is said to be in serious talks for the role after both women auditioned for director Francis Lawrence.
Johanna Mason plays a pivotal role in Catching Fire as a returning victor participating in the Quarter Quell. The tough, brash young woman acts as an unwilling ally to heroine Katniss Everdeen.
Catching Fire is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 22 in 2013.
