Jennifer Connelly Could Join the Cast of Noah

Darren Aronofsky is gathering actors for his upcoming movie, Noah, though not necessarily two by two. Most recent to make the list is Jennifer Connelly, who’s been rumored to join the cast for some time. According to Cinemablend, Connelly is in negotiations for the role of Naameth, wife to Noah (played by Russell Crowe).

Connelly has worked with both Aronofsky and Crowe before, first in a starring role in Aronofsky’s Requiem for a Dream, and later as Russell Crowe’s wife in A Beautiful Mind.

In addition to Russell Crowe, Noah also features Ray Winstone and Emma Watson; its story is a play off the biblical tale, but will also heavily features themes of sacrifice and redemption. Noah is scheduled for a release date of March 28, 2014.
