Jim Henson Company Working on a Frog and Toad Animated Film

The Jim Henson Company has a Frog and Toad adaptation in the works, but don’t expect puppets or muppets to be in on this one. Deadline reports that Craig Bartlett (Hey Arnold!, Dinosaur Train) will write the screenplay for an animated feature. The film is being directed by Cory Edwards, best known for Hoodwinked.

Frog and Toad is a four-book series by Arnold Lobel published from 1970-1979. It follows the misadventures of two amphibian friends.
