Listen to a Track From James Iha’s New Solo Album

James Iha, best known for his stints in Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle, is set to release his second solo album on Sept. 18. You can stream the first single off the album, “To Who Knows Where,” over at Rolling Stone; the publication calls it “one of Iha’s darkest cuts.” It’s a melancholy tune, not unlike those of Iha’s old bands.

Look to the Sky was produced by Iha and former Shudder to Think guitarist Nathan Larson. It’s been almost 14 years since Iha released his first album, Let It Come Down, in 1998.
