No Age to Headline Anti-Walmart Benefit in L.A.

Walmart recently acquired a permit to build a store at the Human Resources performance space in L.A.’s Chinatown. To protest, local lo-fi duo No Age are set to headline a benefit concert at the performance space in question.

The event is set to take place on June 29 and will also feature the bands Tearist and L.A. Fog, as well as DJs from a radio station based in the area. The suggested donation is $5, and all proceeds wil benefit “anti-Walmart efforts” such as the next day’s demonstration at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.
