Patrick Wilson Joining the Cast of Girls

Just when you thought it was finally safe to love Hannah’s often-shirtless squeeze Adam on HBO’s Girls, Lena Dunham has to go and snatch him away. Never fear, though—Patrick Wilson will step in as a romantic interest for Dunham’s character.

According to TV Line, Wilson will play a dreamy fortysomething doctor living next door to Hannah’s workplace. Wilson is the second notable male actor to grab a spot on the new season—the first being Community’s Donald Glover.

Season 2 is currently in production and is expected to air in 2013.
